Now I know that there have been many a posts in the recent years about this company but I am a little dissapointed with their shipping. I ordered some pretty good quality air tools from them to go along with my new compressor that I got for graduation. I ordered this stuff over 2 weeks ago. I emailed and called customer service and they told me that they ship via a truck to th UPS hub and it takes 7-10 working days. Is it just me or is this an old school method? Shouldn't they, being a fairly well know company, have UPS pick stuff up? Secondly, They billed me the day that I ordered it and I have been paying interest on this purchase because I want to wait until I actually get the goods before I pay. Is it logical for me to feel that they should pick up the tab on my interest through the credit card for making me wait this long?? I understand that they told me their shipping method but this is over 10 working days. The website doesn't even note how long shipping would take, it just says to use a chart for shipping charges. Maybe I am missing something here.
The good- Customer service is quick to respond with a good answer.
The bad- I am paying interest (mostly my own fault), and it has been over two weeks and still no package.
Maybe I am overreacting because of Harbor Freights known crappiness but I could have driven the hour or two out of my way to go the their store in Arlington Heights and gotten the tools in a day rather than wait 3 weeks.
