ebmiller88 = good brake vendor

I recently bought a C5 caliper / LS1 rotor setup from Ed Miller to fit under my stock 16" rims and am very pleased.

Ed Miller is on the forum as ebmiller88 and sells very complete and high quality brake kits for our cars.

The kit came with everything necesary for the swap, right down to the Earls braided lines. The kit was fully test fitted before shipping and fits like a glove.

He was able to customize his kit to what I wanted without any problems.

I would recommend him to anybody looking at new brakes.

This thread pretty much covers the buildup of my brakes, with some pics at the bottom of the first page and on the second page:

Did the kit include modified spindles and caliper brackets? I am close to going with a Z06/C5/LS1 front brake set-up and I really would like to use EB's stuff.

Yes it does. My "Standard" kit will include the following:

Modded spindles: cleaned, modded, drilled, tapped, and painted;
Hubs, zinc coated with new studs installed;
Brackets, zinc coated;
Timken bearings and seals;
Raybestos rotors usually, GM rotors in some kits;
All brake parts and hardware;
GM ceramic pads standard (LS1 and C5 kits only);
Earl's front braided lines;
GM banjo bolts and crush washers;
Grade 8 hardware or Metric equivalent;
Parts list and install guide.

Hubs, brackets, and bearings are INSTALLED FOR YOU!!

I'm really thinking of offering powdercoated spindles standard but I'm not sure yet. I can also offer powdercoated calipers, zinc washed rotors and such. PM me for more info.

Glad to help guys.

Ed

Hey Ed, are you getting my PMs? I sent a payment through paypal for the c5/z06 hubs, brackets, spindles, lines last week. Just making sure you got it.

Thanks,
Peter

I agree that Ed does outstanding work (even for us G-body guys). Ed, I need to get my old spindles back to you; Katrina put a big hold up on everything.

I've not bought brakes from Ed, but I did pick up my current rear end from his house. Just as he said it was, have had no trouble.

I saw his shop, does very nice work. I'm hoping to buy the C5/LS1 setup from him this summer sometime.

ED,

I will probably be needing hubs and brackets. How much for them and are they new hubs or used ones? Do you do any coatings for the brackets or hubs? I have already ordered a set from another member but I have not seen anything in 5 months.
Let me know.

I purchased spindles, hubs, brackets and hoses for my c5/z06 swap and Ed's quality is far beyond anything that I have seen on the market. Everything is just perfect and couldn't be happier! Thanks ED!
