Summit Racing
Summit Racing
I ordered everything for my HSR swap (fuel npts, lines, etc) and spent $192 on everything. I got everything from them within 4 business days and everything was packed good and straight. Nothing was missing and they even gave me some free stuff like a hat and some new razor blades/shavers.
I highly recommend Summit Racing!

I ordered an intake manifold recently and it arrived 2 days later, and that was the standard shipping. Love those guys! Wish they would throw out coupon codes like rock auto though.

I usually get my "your items have shipped" email...an hour after the stuff arrives at my house the next day lol. Out of the thousand or so bucks I've spent with Summit, I only got 1 free hat. That's one expensive hat for a person that doesnt wear hats

Re: Summit Racing
Usually takes two days for me. They havent gotten any of my orders wrong yet either. They did have a description wrong, saying a bolt set had undersized 3/8 heads but it was 7/16 heads on a 3/8 bolt.
I never got a hat, but usually I make a ton of small orders. Got half a dozen razors last year. Gave them all away. Something about a five-blade razor makes me nervous.

I ordered an Air filter from them at 5pm on Thursday and it arrived at 12:20 Pm the next morning!!!

It doesn't hurt that I'm in the same state as their headquarters but dang! They got themselves another satisfied customer.

Re: Summit Racing
Ordered 600$ worth of parts for my cam swap a short while ago. Cant remember if I have bought things with the summit bucks logo but out of the many orders and thousands of dollars I have spent there, I have never received a coupon or rebate. Although I have received adds, hats, and razors.
That being said all parts I order are here in 2 days or less if I don't order on Sunday. Packaged nicely, and always in stock. Big bonus to their online techs, they really know their stuff most of the time.
I rarely do business with anyone else.

Yeah, their tech support is pretty helpful, twice now they've answered my really specific obscure questions I couldn't find answers to anywhere else, lol.

In the past 4 years I have spent over $6000 with Summit. I have returned items, called tech support, what have you? I have always received prompt delivery, support, and quality parts. I ordered a new mini starter on sunday and am confident that it will be here on wednesday. I have enough stickers to hold my car together (LOL), hats and shavers. Bottom line is, Summit is where I shop, they have won my business. Randy

Re: Summit Racing
Everything I own is draped in Summit Stickers!!!! Summit is the best, pricing, tech, shipping; I have been ordering from them about 10 years now, several thousand spent and no issues whatsoever. They do what the say. I even got an OBD I data reader for about half of what they were charging thanks to their price match promise. Customer for life

Re: Summit Racing
The only thing I wish they would do is enhance the browse/search feature. Allow us to select multiple or ranges of specs. I dont care if my valve springs are 1.295 or 1.3 wide as long as they're under my limit, and I wish I could narrow it down to a few similar sizes and not have to browse each size one at a time.
Just put in an order around 4pm yesterday, fedex says tomorrow for the delivery.

Re: Summit Racing
Summit is the best... they price match anything with out hesitation. Im a big price researcher and always order from summit. they have even ordered parts for me from manufactures that they didnt carry. just called tech support and gave them manufactures and part numbers and in about two days I get a call and say that they ordered them and will ship them to me when they come in. every thing else I order I get in 1 to 2 days and razors and hats and fendercovers to spare.

Re: Summit Racing
I ordered a full exhaust set up from Summit a few weeks ago. Three days after ordering online, my headers, cat and catback arrived!
One of the exhaust tips on the hooker catback had a small dent in it. Not a big deal because I won't be using them, however, I contacted summit using the online chat feature. They said they would contact hooker and have them ship me a replacement.
The replacement tip from hooker was on back order, but I just received it yesterday, about a week after contacting summit. I didn't even have to send the bent tip back.
I was really surprised at how quickly and directly summit dealt with the issue. A huge thumbs up!!

I ordered my ceramic Hooker 2055's and got them in a few days. Less than two weeks later they went on sale, 70.00 cheaper! I emailed summit customer care and within a day they had creditted my account for the difference of the sale price. That's what I'm talking about!

We hardly ever get free stuff, even after spending tens of thousands of dollars with them. I had to beg them to get a banner for the shop. The rest is ok but some free stuff would be nice for sure.

Re: Summit Racing
I've been noticing that some felpro parts are a lot more through summit vs advance auto. Head bolts $24 vs 18 (per head), head change gasket set 110 vs 83. Too lazy to go through the price match process, plus advance gives me those 20 off on 100 coupons. I saved $60 compared to if I had just ordered through summit without checking prices elsewhere.
So sometimes summit is the cheapest and best (ordered my springs and intake bolts from them and they did show up in under two days), but check first, dont expect them to be cheapest or even close unless you price match.

Re: Summit Racing
I just placed an order for shocks, struts, bushings, brakes etc etc for a total of just under $1500.00 on May 3rd. They shipped from all three of their facilities and the whole order arrived intact and neatly packed in two days. I am very happy with Summit.
I am a little jealous that I didn't get a hat or razors though.
