Mac Products suck!

I made the mistake of doing business with Mac Co. They make exhaust products mostly.
I ordered a straight pipe piece from them that was supposed to be a direct fit replacement for my factory cat conv. Not only was it not made to the right dimensions but when I called their tech dept. the guy was a real jerk. He was telling me that my exhaust must not have been stock and all sort of other BS. I mean this guy was a complete idiot and he is supposedly one of their engineers. Please, this guy didm;t know his *ss from a hole in the ground. I can't say enough bad things about this company. I would never do business with them.
I'm happy that with this new board I'll have the chance to tell as many f body owners as possible how much I hate Mac Products.

I can say they also will advertise a product for sale, then wait to see what kind of responce they have,, then maybe,, they might actualy build it - in other words, use the ad as a marketing survey. I can't say if their product is good or bad,, because the two pieces I wasted months calling on were never produced. Each time they said production was delayed a couple of weeks, yep,, what ever. Finally I had a local shop custom make the exhuast. I called MAC 6 months later (they were still running the same ad) and got the same story. This is one of only a very few companies I will never do business with, nor waste a call on.

I've heard many bad things about Mac, nothing good . However, this technically belongs in the aftermarket product review. This forum was created for people to give good/bad stories about the people who carry the parts for sale (like your local speed shop, Summit, Jegs, anyone like that). You'd do better to post this message on the other forum
