I have had excellent results from Hank at Paradise Motors for replacement GM convertible tops for the '87+ F-bodys.

 

Can i ask you what you paid for the top and did you install it yourself?.....

Someone else mentioned doing tops themselves. I want to attempt this when my 89 is due for a top. Drop me a line if it is you who installed your top.

I did not install it myself as I realize my limitations! We'll just say that I would have had to buy a spare top to take care of the one that I ruined! I think I paid around $275.00 +/- for the top a year or so back plus a couple of hundred for a local installation.

 

My local shop wants $275 for the top I want as well, but the draw back is that they want and additional (sit down for this) $780 to install the top. OUCH!
Looks like I might be installing this myself, thanks for the info about the top.

 

I paid right at $700 at Pentons in Pensacola Fl for an original top and excellent installation. This was back in 96.
