Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Ordered a few things from this so called "business" over a month ago and I seem to be having the same issues as everyone else. Its my own fault for not reading reviews first but seeing as he was a site sponsor I pulled the trigger. Hope no one else orders a thing from this clown. I have sent 5 Emails with not a single response from Denny B. DONT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!

This is unfortunate because I have bought several things from him in the past and I've always gotten them within 10 days.

A couple of years ago I bought four IROC wheels from Third Gen Ranch, but only two arrived.
Asked for tracking numbers for the shipment, but never got an answer.

Sounds like he gave up on the business and decided to scoop up as much as he could before he dissapeared. Probably moving too. I'll bet there will be no rally in Crete this year.

If you didn't pay with PayPal I don't think You'll see that money again.
All these things people suggest, PO inspectors, bbb, cops, none of it's going to do anything. Might be able to protest the charge with cc, but not if you waited too long.
If you did use PayPal (and were not dumb enough to send as a gift) you should be able to file a claim and get your money back, but don't wait around. No reason people can't supply tracking numbers or other proof. Any bull, file a claim right away.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Another weird thing is that he's still advertising. Can't really be sure its him, but I've been seeing thirdgenranch ads on the Philadelphia area craigslist for the last couple days.
It sucks though, because often he had little pieces that were hard to find at reasonable prices.

Those hard to find small parts might be his hook. There is a guy over on NastyZ28.com named Glenn who does the same crap with those guys. He frequently pops up with a new user ID, then the Admin. has to ban him again. Then he reappears with a new IP address and user ID....then gets banned AGAIN....its crazy.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Considering it should only take 12-14 days to ship and have the customer receive a normal item, if you don't have a tracking # after 10 days I immediate file a claim. You have 30 days to file a claim, but the sooner the better. Paypal puts a freeze on his account, and it jacks up any other business he does because if he doesn't have that money in his account, and new money that he would make would be froze, and if there is no new money when you win the case paypal just rips it out of his bank account.. it's one of the things you agree too in the fine print when signing up

Also, yes, please flag his posts. I will flag them in Pittsburgh.
Funny how he can't return a call or E-mail, but can post on facebook and craigslist.
I say anyone owed money should go to 3rd gen fest next year for free, and take your parts off his property because he just leaves them laying in his yard anyway.. that's how one member here got his parts.. just showed up at dudes house lol

I ordered a set of gta taillights from them. I found out a friend had ordered them previosly and returned them cause they fell apart when he opened the box. When they arrived to my house sure enough one of the lights fell apart as i set it down on the table. They denied it being returned for damage

I ordered several hundred dollars worth of gear from him to ship to Australia, after nearly 2 months several emails, some unanswered, messages on the facebook page and threats to open a dispute with paypal, my stuff arrived afew weeks later. Total grub. It is unfortunate as this clown has a great supply of gear we all need.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Never ordered anything from him.
Do a quick search on FB by his name. Comes up in Crete, IL.
He has posted recently. Just a quick glance thru the page saw some pictures of thirdgens. Most likely the same guy.
Maybe some of you that have not gotten your stuff can contact him thru his personal page.
BTW lots of interesting info on there.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Bought some parts from him some days ago. He answered my emails within a few hours up until he got the payment. After that no response to my asking for tracking number.
I will wait for a response within 7 days, which is when I can file a dispute on Paypal. I didnt spend as much money as some of the others, hope it will all be resolved for You guys!

That guy Denny is a crook. I ordered some wheels from him before Christmas and never got them. I would email him for tracking info but he would never give it to me. Luckily I used paypal and I opened a dispute. He never responded to paypal and they awarded me all my money back. I'll never buy from Thirdgen Ranch again!!

I agree. But plenty of people are defending him. Say he's a great guy and has done nothing wrong. It's amazing all the excuses they have.... He's busy, he has a family, it's only a side business for him, blah blah blah.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS

I've been watching this for months. In years past I would not hesitate for a second to send a payment to ThirdGenRanch, now there's NO WAY I would risk it. At first I really expected to see Denny Post with some type of explanation. After a few weeks had passed I saw that this wasn't a single ( or even a couple) isolated bad deal(s) or the result of a transaction that failed due to some unexplained / unpreventable circumstance. We're witnessing MANY bad transactions involving thousands of dollars and repeated offenses perpetrated on multiple respected - and worldwide - TGO members.
Mods need to get involved, and I don't mean by just moderating the (abusive) negative comments from members that got screwed over. So much time has passed and yet there has been ZERO effort made by ThirdgenRanch to account for ANY of the MANY accusations of fraud that our membership has made against him. I'm a long-time & die-hard Thirdgen fanatic, ALWAYS had nothing but respect for Denny and TGR; no longer. While he may have been a ThirdGen hero at one time, things change - and they have changed - and it's not for the better. He has now joined the ranks of "SweatPea" and the other less-than-reputable sellers that have disgraced themselves here over the years.
While I can understand the desire to 'stand-up' for a buddy or to 'back-up' someone that you have done fair business with in the past, But while the positive feedback for past performance is reasonable & justified,..... how can any of you simply disregard current events ? My guess is that anyone still defending Denny hasn't sent him hundreds of dollars - for nothing. Respectable actions of the past do NOT trump the fraud occurring today.
I waited a long time to inject my opinion here,... The entire time I watched these threads I HONESTLY hoped that I would open them to find a valid - even if it wasn't a good - explanation for recent ThirdGen Ranch troubles,..... but it never happened and I'm at the point where I don't think it will happen. Such contempt for our community is inexcusable and unacceptable, and so is the lack of support for those members that have been defrauded.
Please understand: when those that have been screwed over recall their horror stories about ThirdGenRanch to people at local car shows and across the web,..... TGO WILL be included in those conversations. I've already had people ask me about it when visiting my place in recent weeks. For those that know Denny personally, maybe you could try and persuade him to polish up his tainted reputation by addressing his recent troubles. Regardless of how this post is interpreted I am STILL hoping that ThirdGen Ranch/Denny can somehow restore (some of) it's lost credibility because right now,..........
Good luck to all those still without resolution to their failed dealings with ThirdGenRanch. I really hope things are made right for you folks.
