Hey everyone,

I just ordered an ASCD 2" cowl for my 1992 RS from ThirdGenResource, just wondering if anyone had gone through them before and how they felt about them? Furthermore, how many of you have used an ASCD hood and would did you like it?
My experience so far with ThirdGenResource has been great just wondering how you guys felt.

Well,I just ordered an ASCD hood from them also under a group purchase and haven't received it yet.Suppossedly the hoods were ordered the 6th of Nov.,and I was told it would only take a week to get here to Tx. Well,it's been over two weeks and nothing.I called them today(thirdgen resource) and the lady said they were snowed in. ?????????
So what,I WANT MY HOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway,they have been replying to my e-mails religiously,so that's a plus.Did you order yours under the GP that they were doing?

 

Hey RSpeed I bought mine during the same group purchase. I placed the order on 11/13 and still have not seen or heard anything on the hood. The charges were finally put on my card this past friday. They told me the same thing, that it would only take a week, and i live right outside of chicago. I hope i get it soon im scheduled for a paint job on 12/8, and if i dont have it by then im not going to be happy.

I ordered my SS hood from them on the 22nd or 23rd. I haven't heard anything, and no money has been taken from my bank account...

I guess its time to call them to see whats going on.

Well just to let you know i got my hood on 12/9/00, two hours before my paint job appointment. So i guess it made it in time. It looks great and i love it just wish i had gotten it sooner.

Ordered a few parts off them and it has been a month and I still don't have anything, no money withdrawn from my credit cards and they don't answer my e-mails.

 

Ya, I've e-mailed them about a price on something about a month ago, and I still haven't received a reply either.

 

I'm not too happy with my experience with them. I finally got my hood.. over a month after I orered it. I asked them for a status report on it about 2 weeks ago, they said they would find out why its taking so long... I never heard back from them. Turns out, the hood was backordered. I think they should at least let people know their orders are going to take forever rather than let them wait and wait and hope they aren't getting screwed.

I ordered my hood on 11/23.. finally gets here on 12/29. ASCD was quick to answer my emails.. but thirdgenresource is dead to me now.
