third gen resource OK by me

I just purchased a set of 4th gen black leather seats for my 89 GTA. Roy called me a few days after shippment to see if I was happy. The seats and other parts I got all were fine. Roy seems like a nice guy and I would use them again. Please remember most of these used parts are at least 10 years old. My stuff made it to NY, no problems.

Me too, ordered a "steel" cowl hood. He's gone the extra mile for me. He called when he said he would.

I am glad to see there are people in the world willing to step up in a positive way.I have a small company and for every 1000 happy customers you here maybe 2 "that a boys" and for every upset customers you here about it at least 5 times.Thats life I guess.

The Biggest Problem seems to be ordering online......almost everyone who calls get what they want and quicker.

Thirdgen resource is a crock. They have no idea of customer service or customer relations. JUST FIX IT. Even if the fault is not entirely yours as long as some of it is yours and there is that grey area. You just need to take it up the @@@ sometimes to keep the customer happy. I know for a fact that in the recycling car business there is a large profit margin.

Seems like after some initial teething prob, Third Gen Resource is coming around. Nice to hear some positive feedback about them and hoping one day I'll add them to my list of parts suppliers(not immediately though - imminent job change will have me clutching the purse strings fairly tightly for awhile ).

Headliner issue

Well I finally got my correct headliner from thirdgen resource. It took 4-5 months but it's here. The quality is far better than the one I originally got. It looks very good. It was a very frustrating adventure but it's fixed.

Firechicken it's nice to see you got what you wanted. It is a bitch when this stuff happens. At least you came forward to say it was fixed. I only purchased from them once and really had no trouble. Good luck in the future. The first firebird I had back in 1977 I called the chicken.
