Spectra is going downhill
This was not on a F-car but a warning as to how little this company cares about making the correct part that actually fits. OE replacement condenser they designed does not even have a mounting bracket for the driverside nor is it coated to protect it from corrosion like their stock image and information on their website suggests. If they dropped the coating, they need to remove it from their specification sheet. Still no excuse for building something that cannot be bolted in place for a stock application. Now I am going to have to fab something to make it fit. I did send an inquiry to Spectra with the picture, so maybe they will correct the issue, but I doubt it. They have already shipped these wrong condensers to every parts house and online vendor around. Looked at several in my local Oreilly stores and Autozones, this one came from Amazon had a different supplier name and had the older design image, but I was shipped the same wrong unit. I kept it though because I will make it work regardless.
