This just came across my news feed.
Seems to me some or all of this has been available from various vendors has it not?
That said, it's cool to see it all in one "kit".
skinny, thanks for posting that link. I clicked on it and read the Johnny Hunkins article then went to the QA website and read a bunch more.
Happy to share. It seems to me it might be old(er) news but worth posting just the same.
Surfing through Motor Trend yesterday and I came across the same article you've mentioned.
In a perfect world, I'd take the very clean 82 roller I have and outfit it with all that QA1 goodness. Sadly, the world isn't perfect!
It's my car in the images for the new QA1 offerings. It has the full handling kit installed. There have been parts available from QA1 for a long time but everything was revisited and improved except for the panhard bar and the lower trailing arms. It's proven to be a very solid set-up on the street and at the autocross over the past summer. Side Profile Promo Photo

I had alluded to some or all of it being available for some time already. Hats off to QA1 for packaging it altogether.
And thanks for posting that. Good looking car too. Nice stance as they say.
This is the sort of thing that gives third gens and the people that own them some cred. Long overdue and I'm happy to see it happening.
Thanks again!

can you provide the link of pics of the install, ie are there pics of the actual components installed in your car vs the view of just the components themselves... i ended pulling the trigger on a lot of the front end items, k member, spring sliders, a - arms etc to update my ever evolving 85 IROC LS swap... thanks

For pics, you should be able to access all of the install instructions on the website. It won't give you a wide angle but will show you the critical points for installation. The car is currently in storage or I'd grab some more pictures. The only other pictures I have are pre-production parts and may not represent the finished product.
Has anyone installed the new k member with a LS engine yet? I have been checking into headers and the Hedman and Ultimate are 4 to 6 month out for supply. I was taking with Ultimate and they said that it was a very tight fit, I am not sure if they are mounting the engine different than others
An LS was fit during development with a few different headers. Call QA1 tech support and ask about the brands and models that were tested.
I called them and they only used the ultimate and hedman and they are unsure what else would work. The hedman is not available and they are not building any for at least 1/2 year and ultimate is 16 weeks plus. They should have used one that is currently available.
