Ford Monoblade Questions
1. Has anyone here used a Ford TB in a GM application with a TH700R4 TV cable? I don't have the TB yet, and feel sure that I can make it work, but would like pics if anyone has any.
2. How big a deal is it to wire up the Ford IAC and TPS? I know I'll need to change the connectors, but am I going to run into any problems doing this?
Once my TB gets here I'll probably be able to answer my own questions, but I figure someone here already has the answers. Thanks guys!

You might ask this guy how it's going.
I've also heard that the IAC is different on a ford.
And that Accufab Electromotive? sells an adapter to use a 3rd gen IAC. Can also use a TBI iac I think and stick it in the adapter.

YES the Throttle bodies he is talkin g about DO...they are for the fox body mustangs...I run an accufab 90MM throttle body...>>>>while I did nopt use a 700r4 I could have...But I did use the stock mounts>>and originally used the stock TB cable on an accell pro ram...
without getting into boring detail what I did was Sacrificed a stock TPI throttle body...
I drilled the rivets on the connectors...Then I Measured the angle/location of each connector in relationship to the centerline and throw of the throttle body...once I had the math figured out I made a Plate ofut of 304 stainless>>>>It bolts onto the ARM of the accufab>>>I did this rather than try to add a ford or tother mount>>>IN retrospect I would have just used a LOKAR setup and skipped the hassle...but live and learn>>>>Actually on the kickdown you COULD use a lokar cable for that as well..the procedure for doing what I did is hard to type in message especially without pics...
The IAC>>>> Precision turbo sells a bolt on adaptor that uses the TURDGEN IAC...thats easy...the TPS...Alll you do is buy the ford male plug end if you want it to look stock>>>or if you dont care buy some insulated solderless clips>>>READ>>>INSULATED>>>> and clip them in that way...
I am **** with how my car looks so I bought the ford plug for my harness...The TPS can be calibrated essentially in the same fashion a tpi one is... ...
My advice for the easy route would be>>> Buy the gm adaptor from precision turbo or WOEVER... BUY a lokar kickdown kit and throttle cable kit....Use the STOCK TB to map out where to drill holes into the accufab arm.... What you are attempting to copy is this... when the pedal is relaxed to when the pedal is WOT the cable pulls back X inches....the throttle body swings roughtly 90 degrees during that x" stroke... so if you measure the distance between the center of the stock TB and the angle/distance of the connection and reproduce that hole on the accufab then you are golden.Thats the easiest way....I did that on mine in an afternoon>>>Including making the bracket Which you would not have to do unless you insist on using GM cables...
