Anyone used stainless coolant piping on LT1 intake?

Has anybody tried using stainless coolant piping? I think that a couple nice 1/2" or 5/8" polished stainless pipes running from the rear of the intake to the front where the remote housing is mounted would look GREAT! It would clean up this conversion quite a bit.

I planned to use 90 degree elbows off the back of the intake and run the coolant hoses along the lower inside area of both valve covers. I got the idea when I was looking at some GM vehicles and how they utilize steel coolant piping and thought POLISHED STAINLESS would look great instead of hoses.

I think my stumbling block is joining the pipes with the fittings and the remote housing.

Any thoughts?

you could always use copper or brass pipe fittings. Readily available, and looks great polished too.
