Carb Supercharger to MPFI
Hi i recently bought a Supercharger for my v6 camaro, it comes with its own intake manifold and the supercharger is set up for a carb, i have mpfi and would like to convert this manifold into a fuel injection manifold like some people have done on here to v8 carb manifolds, anything i should know before attempting this? Im planning on getting a custom fuel rail/log so thats not a design issue, Can the injectors be facing straight down into the manifold? Or do they have to be angled like the stock mpfi injectors?

Injectors do not HAVE to be angled. On tall port heads, a slight angle twords the runner is helpful, but in a forced induction application I think it's a wash.
Sounds like an exciting project!

Link to pics , well thats the whole kit i bought from ebay, im paying for it with paypal, id say ill have it within 2 weeks, From what i can see it looks like there is room to put injectors, i refuse to rip out my electronics for a carb and no camaros ever had tbi so im keeping mpfi, even if i make a custom fuel rail and have something like a mutant 6 injector tbi style fuel delivery system.
You could put them in the manifold.
I'd just stick them in a TB adapter and
use the smallest mono blade you can find.
Then swap to a 7730 ecm and run $58 code.
This will be interesting when you finish.

ok, so whats the process of adding the injector ports? just dilling holes to stick injectors into and then bolted down the fuel rail to keep it in place? or do u add special ports that the injectors go into? and as far as all this computer stuff goes can i just use a 3.4 supercharged stock computer repinned to work on a 3rd gen?

best pic of the manifold i could find, i deffinitly think i can add injectors to this set up, just need to work about the computer now, but see my previous post for how i want to solve that issue

Port injection would be a lot more work and isn't needed with a roots blower.
Dig around up top of the board. There's plenty of info on the injector bungs.
Swapping to a 3.1 ecm would require running the emissions equipment it had. And I'm not familiar with that app.
The 730 with the $58 has a lot more support since it came stock on turbo 4.3's and lots of people are running it on V'8s.
Either choice is going to require effort on your part learning how to tune it.

i dont have these items in my possesion to take better pictures, i just paid for it online so it should be here soon, i already have a 3.1 with all emissions equipment so thats not an issue, and i found out almost everything i need to know about the injector bungs and how to properly install them, if i dont convert the supercharger intake manifold into a mpfi then i need to make some sort of 6 injector Throttle body injection system to fit on top of it, i want to use as much stock wiring as possible and hopefully just need a reprogrammed/ after market computer to run it all
