speed density or maf vortec stealthram

I purchased a vortec holley stealthram for a 1988 pontiac transam with throttle body. i have a maf wireing harness complete with computer.Should i use the harness i have or buy a speed density harness!!! I know ill need to have chips burned.but is one harness better than the other.

No, there is info on DIY Prom for the conversion of a maf to sd.
If your maf works, use it to learn on till it fails.
Then swap to sd.
