fuel rails for vortec stealth ram

just wondering whats the difference in the fuel rails between vortec application and regular. I know the adjustable is a little more expensive and should aid in future mods tuning.

I don't know but I have wondered, too.

My guess is that the Vortec might have altered locations for
the injectors. Hence the rails would be drilled differently.

Another thought is how the cross-over tube is shaped to fit
in the area between the runners and the passage to the
t-stat.

Rail mounting points? ect ...

The cross-over tube would not be a big issue preventing
someone from using a common rail set but the other aspects
would create some trouble.

I would definatly do braided hose rubber and barbs on fuel injection just doesent sit well with me theres a good amount of pressure in the system and I would want the smallest chance of fire possible

I'm replacing a regular Stealth Ram with a Vortec version. I'll try to find the differences and let you guys know and/or post pictures.

Ok.

I'm heavy into getting a StealthRam, but wondering about the fuel rails itself.

Is the fuel rail different from the standard Slthram?

I havent found a different part number for the vortec version(which I need). Someone happen to have the vortec fuel rail part number?

later

Vortec Stealth Ram Fuel rails w/ non-adjustable regulator is Holley # 534-192. They are on back-order from Summit. Mine is expected the first full week of March.

I think the one with the adjustable regulator is 534-193. Check Thunder Racing's website, they have it listed there.

After viewing some pics I think they are revised due to the fact that vortec heads have raised intake ports. So there would be a little clearance issue w/regular fuel rails. My rails are in finally after a four month wait, the engine and tranny are bolted together and just waiting to drop in. Now I just have to worry about the fuel lines, I'd like to buy a kit pre-assembled but can't find anything up here in Canada. Maybe I'll just go to a speed shop and ask them to put together the lines with the AN fittings and adapters to connect to the hardlines. It's been a long time coming from when I blew the 305TPI (late last summer) and can't wait to see what the vortec stealthram will do

With my rails on back order and the fact that someone already bought my regular Stealth Ram, I won't be able to compare them side-by-side afterall.
