HSR and fuel... REALLY rich

Ok I have had this car "running" for about 10 days now. Maybe at the most 60-70 miles.
And in that time it has guzzled a good 1/2 a tank.

I know I need to burn a chip for it, and I am ordering the stuff on monday.
However I was just wondering if anyone else had this same result running the stock ECM.

Some stats
Engine 383, 24Lb injectors, auto, 2055's and cat back.

right now, the injectors are most likely near max trying to feed the 383. the o2 are most likely reading lean and the ECM is adding as much fuel as it can. once you tune this up, the fuel consumtion will come down some.

You can't run bigger than stock injectors without reprogramming. This is your fuel consumption problem.
