superram and gm 847 cam bad idea?
superram and gm 847 cam bad idea?
I'm am thinking about using gmpp's 12370847 cam with the superram the specs. are: I:234 E:242 at .050 duration and lift .539/.558 with a lsa of 112. The heads are afr 190s and the engine is a 415 stroker with around 11to1. Is this cam overkill or would it work pretty well with the accel? Thanks

It will work good with that cam on your 415. My 406 is running a 240/240 @.050 and .595/.595 on a 112 seperation and it works well.

I always dynp both ways to see what the engine is doing without being influenced by the torque convertor.
