Can the Holley AFPR be repaired?

I recently found out the AFPR I bought off of a member here doesn't work. Rather than spend $100 on one that works, can the Holley version be repaired?

If it's not physically damaged metal wise, get a replacement diaphragm and motor on. There's not much to them other than a billet cap, spring, the screw in dial, the screw in brass vacuum fitting and the diaphragm.

I don't know where you'd get a replacement diaphragm though as that was the only part I heard of that goes on those.

Even if Holley would sell it separately I'm not sure I'd trust it.

Re: Can the Holley AFPR be repaired?

Hopefully better late than never.

I fixed mine by getting a stock diaphragm/spring assembly out of the junkyard, and cut the stud off that captured the stock spring (it's way too long for the Holley unit). Using the stock diaphragm, I reassembled the Holley unit with all other Holley parts, and it works great. Turn the ****, watch the fuel pressure go up and down, just like it should.

Good luck

Supposedly same as one from a turbo regal, maybe a diaphragm that would fit that?

No way that I can see, the perimeter of the can is mechanically formed so that it cannot be opened unless you cut it open,, buy a Kirban and be done with it!

Or if you have your receipt, Holley will replace it for free.

Might be better off buying a fpr for a Grand National although it's not adjustable.
