ITB's?

Has anyone made or ran an ITB setup? I've seen quite a few setups available but haven't seen any on car ones or better yet in a thirdgen. A lot of DIY setups I've seen are using Hayabusa or Gixxer TB's. Would these flow on a standard small block? Would I be "over-throtttling" a stock-ish motor (just a cam/headers) Gains? Downfalls?

Re: ITB's?

throttle respose would be so fast that the oe ecm wouldn't be able to add fuel fast enough. the intake "trumpets"would need to be about 18 inches long to allow for proper filling of the cylinder.(actual effective length needs to be calculated and then "tuned" for proper length. not a whole lot of people outside of the dirt circle track community us it. i even mocked up one for my 454 but my wife shortened up the budget on the caprice. suspension gt the nod

Sure, I guess. If that makes getting a response easier. It really doesn't matter however, as long as it'll bolt to a small block. I was just looking at the stock TPI base sitting in my garage and I thought it'd be easy to mount ITB's to it. Obviously the base would be a huge restriction.

Hrmm... What would be the effects of an untuned setup or a rather random length "runner"
