heard that the injectors on a HSR when intake has been portmatched to felpro1206 the injector endes will stick out into the intake tract therefore restricting flow. i have my ford SVO 30lb injectors and have tried to push them into the injector bossings the injector oring will slide into the boss but the injector doesnt seem to want to go any farther into the hole... is this the max it installs? or does it have to slide farther down. pic included.

 

Test with the fuelrails also. The rails have a "stop" upwards and this sets how high the injector can sit in the intake.
I´m using LS1 injectors and they are a bit shorter so I´ve made some plastic washers and put them between the intake and injector to keep them up against the fuelrail.

 

Just make sure the O-rings have a perfect seal, and use the clips on the top side. You don't want the injectors to push themselves out of the fuel rail when pressure is on them = whammy + engine fire. The flow restriction should be fairly neglegable. If you can get optimal aim which points them at the valve stem, cold transients will be better/easier to calibrate, but that looks difficult with that intake, but I haven't seen one up close.

 

yea im gona have to try the fuel rails on it. but well have to see, it seems like the Oring has a good seal its just that i thought it would get pushed doent farther in the injector bung. its in there about 1/2" id say or alil more. its a pain to take out when i get it in there lol.

i just dont see what everyone is talking about wiht the injector bung protruding into the intake unner... mine doesnt and isnt even close.... id say about a 1/2" in from in the intake runner. thats why im confused.

 

if its in and snug it will be fine
