HSR- Need your help

Hey guys,
Can't decide what to do so I need your help.

Presently
84 Corvette
Xram,2" tb's,90lb injectors, EBL/flash,Dart SS heads, 173 cc/72cc, Stall,Gears

I have a brand new HSR, with everything only got $350 into it. Hood clearance is not an issue.

I can send the ecm out to Bobr and have him put in the Multi-port upgrade.

Now
Ran the track the other day and ran a best of 13.31,
is it going to be worth me installing the HSR compared to what I already have?

I'd like to get all of your inputs
TIA

Is an X-ram a Crossfire?

Guessing so...youd likely have significant gains switching to the HSR. Personally, I picked up 2mph over a stock TPI setup on a near-stock setup, and I dont believe Ive encountered anyone unhappy after upgrading to the HSR. If you already have the intake and clearance isnt an issue, seems like a no-brainer.

You have a nice car...mine is a 91 Formula WS6. I noticed you still have the stock hood....you had to cut on it to fit the HSR right?

Re: HSR- Need your help

The X-ram basically is a single plane intake with a small plenum on top to accomadate twin TB's. So yes kinda like a CFI, but upgraded. I've gone from 67lb injectors to 90lb, and bored to TB's. Flow around 680 ish. Right now I've estimated about 325 hp at the flywheel, with the present mods.

I'm positive that the HSR is gonna have quicker throttle response but would the overall performance be that much better?

Any of the stock TPI's L98, and LT1's I'm already quicker in the quarter mile that I've run with.

Just wondering if I should waste my time now and put it on my present setup or wait until I build the 383?

Thank you. Yeah, I had to cut some of the bracing to clear the HSR. A ram-air style hood would definitely make life easier...I just really dig the stock Formula hood.

Sounds way better than a Crossfire, actually. Not too familiar with that one.
