Edelbrock Pro Flo 3500...Trying to build 500+hp 383 with this system!

This winter im planning on taking out my 355, and making it into a 383 stroker. The current setup (355) has the Edelbrock Pro Flo 3500 fuel injection system on it with the handheld calibration tool, im wondering will this system work with my 383 build? Im shooting for 500+hp, my current setup is 350hp.

will I need bigger injectors? is it even possible to change out the injectors on this system?

what else would need to be changed??

Also this system (pro flo 3500) needs a chip in order to run the car, would edelbrcok even carry these chips anymore?

your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if you would need larger injectors or not. I think they rate the system at 450 horse with 28# injectors. Depending on how efficient the combination is and how high it revs, you might get by on the 28# injectors.

I played with one of these a few years back (just messed with the idle adjustments) and seems like the controller had fuel and timing adjustments that let you add or remove fuel based on a percentage of the "stock tune" as well as allow you to add and remove timing. Check your owner's manual to see what you can adjust. If the stock injectors won't cut it,, it might be possible to use the controller and get larger injectors to work.

"you might get by on the 28# injectors"

If you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you could always up the fuel pressure a tad if need be.
