And interest in Superram Lids? I may make a few...
I am going to be making a superram lid, and may make a few extra to sell. I am thinking of using 1/4 aluminum. Plain and Simple and easy to polish. Let me know... I know alot of you have warped lids, here is you chance to get a new one.

If anyone has any suggestions, I can also have them made out of a different material, thickness, or something...

Not really. Just whatever it costs to have them made, and the price of the material.

I haven't had them made yet. You would have to polish it yourself though. It would be a raw cut aluminum. It would be flat and easy to polish. If I end up making a few it will only be a few and no more. If I get a general interest in how many would want one, then I will know how many to make.

Haha, if only I had the knowledge and access to it. I agree, it would be pretty slick. So far i think I am limited to either Aluminum or Mild Steel.

I don't know the cost yet, nor do I know the weight. If I only make one to sample, I have no reason to make anymore as this isn't going to be really for profit. I am positive it wont weight more than the stock lid.

Bump... Looking into the price of a sheet of aluminum... I am thinking a plain aluminum lid will be around $75 each or so. Let me know if you all are interested.
What thickness would be better 1/4 or 5/8?
