How to identify old/newer Stealth Ram base.

So, I'm way new to the game here and after reading as much as I can about the pile of parts I now own. The first question I have is how to identify the HSR base. The ones that can be ported specifically, I think I read they changed them in 07' I think I found a date stamp on mine, three years early? I have some pics of a 1206 Felpro outline on the runner. It looks too close for comfort but doable no the less without the welding i thought I was gonna need. Here are some pics. Can anyone tell me if this is truly the older model? Thanks, Damon

PS Thats not my handy work on the runners. It is down right ugly but I can fix it. plus i got it from a guy who says he bought it here. Anyone recognize the spiffy heatshield? That was a pain to get off.

Nobody is going to see it and it appear perfectly functional as a means of keeping the hot oil off the intake runners
Not many intakes are exposed to the oil all the way to top like a HSR is

You got the early 1205 version

Observe the differences in the shape above the ports; old vs new

I know its functional, I just didn't trust the screws. I plan on redrilling them a touch deeper and use a shcs. I was basically just asking to see if i could find the original owner. I wanted to pick thier brain a second. Thanks for the help. I see the difference now. Maybe I'll finish converting my Victor Jr. Here is a pic of the bungs I made Friday night. I used the process described by Moetes.
