HSR Dead Injector

Need some help! I have 89 camaro with HSR intake with SVO 24lbs injectors. It starts and idels but number 1 injector is dead. Have 15 ohms on all injectors but only 0.59 Volts while cranking the car. Should i have 12 volts? Could be ground issue somewhere I removed all emissions from the harness.

Should have 12V at inj any time the key is on , have you checked the injector fuses?

Dead as in doesn't work or dead as in low ohms?
One bad injector will take out the whole inj bank on one side of engine

Re: HSR Dead Injector

Injector fuze's appear fine, no volts with just the key on. Replaced the dead injector and fires right up, running all 8. But only have voltage while cranking the motor, throttle seams to rev easy.

Thanks

Re: HSR Dead Injector

Its not a fuse problem if one is dead.

If all of them are 15ohm and one is .5, thats good enough to say its dead and it needs to be replaced.

Re: HSR Dead Injector

Thanks, I used a new set of injectors number 1 cylinder never worked. Until it was replaced, now it runs better. What im wondering if you have 12v at the injector with key on, why mine has Ov with key on but runs.

Re: HSR Dead Injector

Does the car run well? Will it rev up? What are you using for a ground on your multimeter? Did you check both pins for power? (Maybe youre probing the ground looking for power.)
