My question is I lost alot of low end tq going from you to hsr
And honestly I'm thinking about switch back to tpi
It's a street car 99% and me recujg it part 4500 is badly happens
I can't drive fast around here and I have horrible stock new brakes

Should I go back to tpi or keep my hsr
I paid alot of money for it
Am I nuts

Re: Need help

Keep the hsr and work on your tune. TPI is way too small for a 383

Did you ever have the TPI on the 383? As already indicated the HSR needs a tune - for one a lot more timing than the stock program. A HSR and 383 should have plenty of torque and more than the 305 TPI unless you went way too big on the cam.

Re: Need help

Losing some torque with the HSR is probably expected. But it shouldn't feel slow.... my 350 with a Miniram is definitely not lacking for torque.... probably even shorter runners than the HSR.

I agree that probably your tune is off.

Also what axle ratio are you running?
