Miniram testing
Miniram testing
just a thought, but given the close proximity of the throttle body to the 4 front cylinder ports in this intake... has anybody here ever done any testing with throttle body spacers to push the throttle blades further away from the ports, and even allow a gentle radius to be ground into the plenum entry point?
I was reading some old blog info Vizard posted, and watching a couple of his vids where he claims over 25hp increases with the hsr by adding a plenum to base spacer. it allowed him to contour the front 4 port runners in a way that it equalized afr numbers at low throttle, idle, and at high rpm.
it was Vizards hsr testing that made me think of this, basically a little more plenum volume, and a gentler radius to the front 4 ports vs the abrupt bend it has to make in stock form.
