I would definitely have added it to my "10x the tork, take too" test, if my motor hadn't given up. Someone else will have to take over, though. IDK if it'd do any better than the HSR, but I'd try it if I had a motor to try it on, still. The "repair" will be a 400, so not comparable, unfortunately.

You realize that is a GenIV LY6 with VVT. The older Gen3 6.0L made signifigantly less low-end torque. So a LQ4 or even LQ9 is a good bit weaker at lower rpm. So yes 350 wipes the floor down low with a Gen3 as I previously stated. The VVT system added 30-40 ft/lbs at 2,500 rpm on every LS offering GM added it to.

What's the (larger 6.2L), w/VVT doing at 1k? STOCK?
