I have a friend that is getting a new shifter in his 98 T/A and he is going to give me his stock hurst shifter. Has anyone bolted one of these on to a thirdgen? How hard is it to do? Also, where can I find a short throw? Thanks if anyone can help!! Eric

its a hurst billet plus shifter and i would like $120 for it

 

toosloz, how long have you had the shifter in the car and why are you getting ride of it? I'm thinking about getting either the billet plus or a b&m ripper. Thanks.

 

get the hurst, it's a night and day difference...

and no, a 6 speed shifter won't work in a 5 speed car...

Sell the 6 speed shifter and get a 5 speed... hurst is definitly quality... I have throughly enjoyed mine... Highly recommended!

i had it for about a year and i finally killed the t5, so it got tossed out for a t56...its got nice short throws
