Yeah, it's been posted on the Appearance board, supposed to be a California IROC. Though they only came in red or black. Had no spoiler, no hood louvers or no side molding.

Basically, ever appearance of an IROC was deleted, making it like a stealth. Nothing special performance wise.
Damn! That mean's MINE is worth 12,500, since it only has a few more miles and is an '86 (better ECM, trans pump, valve body, rear seal, wheels, etc.)
Besides, this really should have been posted on the Appearance Board, since the "tech" content is as good as his chances of getting $15K for that dog...

I emailed him and he said he would take a picture of the rpo sticker. He insisted it was a california iroc and that he still had the orginial hood. That doesnt explain the spoiler, side molding or the paint. I guess if someone is uneducated enough to buy it without knowing what it really is that they get what they deserve.

If I was gonna plunk down 15K for a 3rdgen, it had better be a somewhat less than perfect TTA at least!
I don't know about it being real or not, but you never know what somebody may be willing to pay for any car. Mine's for sale and I'm going to ask a lot more for it than I think most are willing to pay for a thirdgen. If you look at it from my point of view though, I don't really care if I get rid of it or not, so why not ask a lot. I'm sure there are a lot more people on this board than just me that have put way more money than we should into our cars. Just my .02.
There is no way I could get my money back on my car.Not yet anyways. In 5 or 10 years these cars will go up in value. The real value is in driving and enjoying these great cars. I have never seen a third gen I would pay 20,000 grand for. There are some real head turners and beautiful cars out there. The TTA is the only car I would think about it if I had the money. Truly Rare and very fast. Thats my take.

Not that I find the new one's ugly at all, but they are my least favorite (other than 74-81 camaros) generation for looks.
As was said before, if that car is worth $15k with 39k miles on it and a new paintjob, then my car is worth $20k+. It only has 8900mi, original paint, original springs, leather interior and the bone stock 350!

Look at the pic TPI_ROC posted. It doesn't have lowered suspension. The jackass pulled up on the rocks so the car is leaning and just looks lowered. What a DUMMY! Sorry just wanted to throw my .02 cents in. I just get annoyed at people who will load something up with BS to make a buck.

OOPS!! I guess I should have looked at the originals again before I posted. Oh well, one of these days I learn to look closer before I open my big mouth.
If you guys read it clearly states the car was black, he wanted it yellow (oh poo baby black Camaro) and when he got it painted he got a new hood and added the rear spoiler. This guy must have big bucks, no reason to be a tight ***...$15k is way to ****ing much. That price is bull****. I bet he's selling it cause he scraped the air dam off and its overheating, probably thinks there are mmpi(c) "major mechnical problems immanent." It's also painfully obvious he used photoshop to enhance the color (two pics are the same, yet one is a different ****ing color?!?)

Ok, even if this car was an actual California IROC, the owner devalued it by painting it a color other than that originally offered with that option and adding the hood and spoiler. However you look at it, at least in my opinion, it isn't worth $15K!
