IROC decals or no IROC decals?

I have become to like the no-sticker look, but too many of my friends say it needs the stickers.

What do you think?

My buddy says he can do a custom ghost of the IROC on the doors? What about that?

I'd say get a decal.

Also, plan on changing that exhaust tip? It's kind of hideous.

As of now Im keeping my exterior competely stock, putting all the $$$ under the hood or in the suspension. But Im thinking when I get everything else done I might go for a new paint job. With ghosted IROC lettering, and maybe even some flames, lol not sure dont want it to look gaudy.

I think you should get the IROC decal for the doors. If I had an IROC-Z, I would definately sport the decal on the door....

BTW, what percent tint is on the back hatch....it looks really good. My 92 RS is almost that same exact color blue, I want a tint that looks good, but not terribly dark.

I actually thought about the Corvette Grand Sport white stripe, but I couldn't figure out where to add in some red

As far as the exhaust tip.... there is not much alternative when running a 3" single outlet muffler.

That's what I say. I don't care for the stripes except on certain colored IROCs.

I'd say that if you want a custom look have the IROC lettering/stripes ghost painted.I mean what's the point of having an IROC if you don't have the decals on it.That's part of the car's appeal. You might as well have gotten an RS and put a big motor in it.

Actually, I just prefer clean cars... I'm probably going to remove my exterior Z28 emblems when I get all the bodywork done.

hatch tint

I'm embarrassed to point it out, but that tint on the back hatch is 15 years old and it has 2 huge holes in it if you look closely.

It needs to be redone real soon. The tint place I go to is booked for the next 2 weeks

FWIW I think its 25% tint. I am going with 20% all around when its re-done.

iroc should have the infamous emblem somewhere, if i wasn't going to have it ghost painted then i would certainly put the silver decals on!

stay away from the stripes mike, people add those to colors that are plain to add flair........your paint stands out beautiful, add as little as possible if i were you.

but, i'm not you so do what you like! don't think you'll go wrong either way.
