Try skulte

Go to www.skulte.com , this guy makes custom billet adapters (spacers) for 3rd gens. I just picked up some for my IROC so that I could mount C5 Rims on the IROC and it came out looking sweet. 9 inches is a bit much and is likely to screw something up. Talk to the guy though, seems to know what he is talking about.

I put a set of iroc wheels on my camaro, and all four wheels are fronts. Meaning that the difference in offset spaces the rears out about 1/2 inch from the stock position. It really gives the car a more aggressive stance, doesn't look at all gay. Most people who saw the car before and after the wheel swap commented that the new rims made the car look meaner somehow, but nobody could really put their finger on why... (the 1/2 spacing). I wouldnt space them out much more though, or it would start looking kinda fruity.

I understand exactly where you guys are coming from. I'd like the rear tires/rims on my camaro to sit a little farther out than stock. I am only complaining about 3/8 inch or so. Just enough to fill out the fender gap when viewed from behind.

Yeah ..thats it
what about if i add 5 or 8 washers to every lug ???
will that create the extra space out ???
will it be harmful for the wheels ???
what can i do ...i have 15x7 base 1988 firebird wheels and
215/60r15 tires
and the rear look real stupid ¡¡¡¡
i need the mean powerful look of the wheels showing near the fender gap

I really don't know how much you can do with the 7in rim. But, putting washers on the lugs behind the wheel is a big no-no. Your wheels won't be able to seat properly and they will be unbalanced or at worst come off. You should be able to get a set of spacers out of jc whitney for around $50.00 They are the kind that bolt onto your lugs, then have lugs for you to bolt your wheel too. That way you don't over-stress your lugs causing failure.

Not to be mean, but *** i'm glad you don't have those rims anymore. Those rims may have had more offset but they are horrible. Maybe you should save your money up for some GTA wheels?

TransAm87's rims look badass!!!!!!!
