Factory door stickers
Factory door stickers
I'm just about to get my 1989 Firebird resprayed, and because it's a full colour change, the inside of the doors are being done as well. The problem is, I will have to remove the factory stickers from the inside of the doors (the ones that show wheel and tyre sizes etc), and also the stickers on the back of the hood and rear hatch that show the VIN number of the car.
Is there any way of removing these so I can refit them afterwards (steaming them off for instance?) If not, is there somewhere that I can get reproductions made to put back on after the paint job?
Thanks in advance
Peter

I would have to say that your best bet is to tape over them. I bet it's illegal to take the stickers off.

thats what i would do. mask over the stickers with masking tape. then when your done, just peel it off. thats your best bet.
