Well whats wrong with the paint on my car. Kodak cameras suck, and so do low quality scanners. I will be geting a digital camera soon and will be able to take really good pictures. my fav pic of my car so far is in the link in my signature from the front. minuse the paint chips on the front ground effect. that has been fixed.

Blackened,
I like the LED look!
That is why I designed the 90-92 overlay kits (and other backlit dash) overlays that way.
Dont confuse inkjet paper with an OEM type plastic applique. One is arts and crafts, the other is professional. Although it may be a little confusing since there are pictures of my products on their page.
BTW, there are LED replacements for 194 style bulbs out there. They are as bright as the Xenon bulbs. Although your layout of leds is going to provide a more even illumination.

Hey MacEwen, Is there any way you can design a back lit kit for the 82-89 camaros? Or how do you think the LED kit that Blackened made would look lighting up your white gauges in red on my 86? You are the professional and your help would be great.
Just as a heads up to everyone here...I sent $628.69 to "Blackened" or Julian Costach 2 1/2 months ago for TPI parts and never received them or a refund, but have gotten lot of excuses and stories.First UPS lost the TPI parts, now the USPS has lost the money order/refund. Save youreselves alot of time/trouble and don't deal with this guy. I am looking into pursuing the proper actions to recover my money. You can send him money for these LED kits if you want, but don't expect to get them, but you can get a good story or two from him when he dosn't produce them or a refund. Sorry to bring this on the boards but there have been two many incidents involved in simply returning my money to let this go any farther. His PM's are all contradicting to one another and the time frames he has promised to return the money/parts and I would officially consider him a troll at this point. Save yourself alot of trouble here and get my money back to me.
Look RaptorPilot, if I wanted to screw you over I would have done it a long time ago. I'm sure you remember your first money order got lost in the mail too. It's not my fault that UPS lost my TPI and now I have to eat the cost. Like I told you I put a claim in but I have yet to see any money. One of the major reasons I'm doing these LED kits is so I can pay you back. I dont think these people want to know what's going on between us two. It was just an unfortunate string of events that leaves both of us pissed off. I sent your money Monday. If you didn't get it yes, it could be beause the mail is slow OR *** forbid it got lost. Not to worry though, I WILL send another one if that's the case. (you did the same thing if you remember)
I thought they would like to know considering that you are asking for more money from other people on this board. In addition, you are selling LEDS to pay me back? Isn't the money you will generate from thse kits a little after the fact if you already sent me a full refund? I'm pissed because your dates/days never seem to mesh in the end. If you had sent the MO this Monday I wouldn't be up your *ss, but you said last Monday after it was really supposed to oout the Thursday before. Next thing I know, it's another two week later and I'm still screwed. I've been pretty patient here, but this is unreasonable. That's all I have to say in this post.

I dont know Blackened personal but I can vouch for UPS being a royal pain in the ***... On an average day we recieve about 300 packages from UPS a day. We pretty much get a whole truck for ourselves. They are constantly losing packages, damaging them beyond all recognition, and barely ever fufilling their refunds. Taken 6 months to get refunds out of them. I wish there was an alternative but its sort of a monopoly in the shipping business. Besides, blackened said he would give me a kit for free right? lol j/k. Never hurts to try...

I've tried em all and Fedex has got to be the best! Only had one mishap and even then they credited me right away because I used a local middle man for the service. UPS sucks, they've lost ground effects, eproms, swaybars and some other crap, never use them! After Fedex, the USPS isn't so bad. I've found that you can't beat the price and 5 days is nothing compared to 6 months from UPS.

twiztidz28,
That isn't a good idea to muck with those dial faces. The faces in your vehicle are stamped steel, and riveted together. Making them backlit is not worth the trouble. There is an alternative solution underway.

this is a pretty sweet idea, but is there any way to adjust the brightness of the LED's? sometimes you just got to turn down the brightness on them for one reason or another, and I was just wondering if there was a way to do it with LED's. oh yeah, and another thing, do LED's take a special power source or anything or do they just hook right up to a 12 volt powersource?
