Check out Our Newest 3rd GEn

My brother just got a 91 RS, needs some minor work, but the interior is in perfect shape. It has a 350 with TBI in it, basically just a stock truck motor. That won't last long. This is his 44th car, hopefully he'll keep it a whileIt's not that clean, it's been raining all day and he just got it tonite. It's been sittin for 1.5 yrs.

I'll post more cleaner pics later.

Here's another. Off to the TBI board to find some info.

He wants to ditch the wheels for some cragars, I said just polish those and put the money towards speed mods. The car has some blimishes, like a dent in the driver door, and front pass fender near the GFX but looks like it can be banged out. I'd say it was a good deal too.

Nice car for the price. Seems I always find deals like that when I'm broke, then when I do got the $ they aren't around.

I wanna sell my IROC and get a 91-92 Camaro, Z28, Formula or GTA. I like the build quality better as well as the airbag and GFX.

We're starting to think it's the original 305 in there. Oh, well. 124k miles then.

Sounds like it was a good deal. I have the same exact car, except that yours has a 350 in it, and I got it for $1500.

Newbies , jk, I know this. Also, certain RSs did get TPI, I'll leave that up to you to figure out which ones The guy said it was a truck 350. Though it really looks to be all original, we'll get the block #s soon.

No engine pics yet, I'll take some, but it's going to change. He plans on a Performer intake, LT1 cam and some headers with a cat-back.

Sweet deal whether or not it's a 350!

Hope your brother enjoy's it, this should be the car to hold his interest for a while.

By the way, what exhaust system are you recommending your brother buy?

Technically, no they didn't. The B4Cs, which have RS badges and spoiler, had TPI. TPI wasn't an option on any RS.

That sounds contradictory, but I get what you're saying.

Well I have a friend with a 87 formula with a 350 tbi truck engine. And it looks pretty much jsut like my 88 TBI 305. It is kind of hard to tell. I f i rememebr correctly gm made 350 TBI truck motors till about 93 or 94. Good deal on that car that is how much I paid for my 88. Got it from a friend and had the car for 2 years bought it with 64K miles and it now has 104K. It is still running but has some problems.and needs to be touched up on the outside. I might drop my 350 in there that came out of my new 1970 camaro i got for my 21st bday. I 'm so happy

Transplant

I went through the 305-350 transplant.... It took me nearly a year to get the car running right, but a lot of it had to do with the engine I bought too. I didn't realize how drastically different the motor was from stock, and it took forever to get it so the computer would communicate with it.
I am glad I have my car now. Just don't go through the suffering I went through!
