Got my car back from the shop today....it drives so much better and doesnt pull to the left at ALL anymore..
However since I was not the family member who went to get the car, I didn't get to check for any damages to the exterior until my parents came back.
It has two brand new dents in it; one on the hood where I think someone must have been having trouble closing it so they pushed a little. too. hard. And a smaller dent on the pass. side right between where the door ends and the quarter panel begins.
I swear, man, these people are not going to be happy come Monday I'll tell you that
:nono:

A repair shop did some work on an old buick I owned and when I went to pick the car up I spotted a cigarette burn in the driver's velour seat. I pointed it out and he denied that any of his guys smoked while working. I pointed out that my check would bounce until he fixed the car's seat...the car was ratty but the interior was flawless and comfy, it was its best and only good feature. He was probably hoping I'd blow it off being the car looked like crap.

My step mom got her '98 Firebird brand new. Took it to the shop to do an oil change, (working on these cars is a joke), they scratched her door, and a newly painted door was paid for.
I'm going to speak with the guy that signs our Camaro's into the shop. He's a very nice guy and I'm sure he'll do what he can.
Then I'm speaking to a Manager and the mechanic who worked on my car....I'll be really sweet/decent, but there's no way I'm letting them off with this. Not to mention it's not the first time that this same shop has damaged my car and I'm about to get sick of it....
Thing is.....what the heck are they doing in there....I mean I'm really starting to wonder if those people sit and plot what to do to my vehicle; and do they do it to other peoples vehicles as well??
O_o something to ponder I guess....

Cmon dude. It's just an oil change and the filter is easy enough to get to on those. Might as well do it yourself so that it's one less chance for someone else to screw up your car.

Some people just prefer to take their cars to the shop to have small things done. My Grandmother is like that.
Problem is finding a shop that will do a good job on anything.
