I have had the car on the road for some time now and the runners that i painted with base clear dont have a mark on them . The paint seem to be holding up very well to the heat in the bay. and look just like the day I painted them. I now have about 3500km on the engine.

mine as well now for over two years........whatever you do; don't ceramic or hot coat your parts.......other than that polishing or painting is good.
