Decal install ?

I just ordered a set of sail panel bird decals for my 85 T/A. How are decals installed? Thanks for your help.

They're usually just peel-n-stick. If you are concerned about getting them set properly, you can get a cheap spray bottle and mix up a solution of soap and water and mist it on the area where you want the decal to be. Carefully place the decal on top of the misted water/soap area and when you get it set where you want it, use a squeegee to remove the water/soap mixture from under the decal (squeegee over the decal).

Remove all wax in the area with Dawn dish soap.

Use a spray solution of 2 drops dish soap and water, mix in a regular size spray bottle. Spray the application side of the decal with the solution as well as the area to applied.

Locate the decal and adjust as needed. Spray the top of the decal. Now use your squee gee to remove the bubbles, start from the center and work your way out. Its the pressure you apply at this point that makes it stick. Let dry overnight, no peeking until its dry! Have fun

Just a quick question. If i got a car i may get one of those, but what do you think that a black and gold bird would look like on a white GTA. Gold would match the wheels, and the black would contrast well with the white and would match the tinted windows. How do you think it would look??
