Alternator question
Well, it's official. My alternator crapped out on me last night. I've been putting the engine "dress up" on hold for a while and have been just collecting parts. I guess now would be a good time to start.
I've got an '87 5.7/350. Which alt do I need? Is it a 1 wire or 2 wire, etc.? I forgot to look last night becuase I got caught up in something else. Anyone have any dealings with the anodized or colored alternators from Summit? I really like the look of the colored units. I appreciate any input you guys can lend.
