Pics of Carbon Fiber Intake(airbox) Inside!

Some people wanted know info on my carbon fiber intake. I had in carbon fiber dipped by a guy here in Columbus, Ga. He does an excellent job. The stuff he does looks just like real woven carbon fiber, instead of the black and grey rectangle pattern that a lot of "carbon fiber" stuff looks like. It looks great on the car and it is different. Here are some pics.

Thats pretty neat dude. Who cares if its not freal Carbfiber, nothing anyone sells hardly is anyway. Too bad I have a TBI car that dosen't use that setup, but I guess I could always get an aircleaner lid...

Garrett: This guy does not actually sell the airboxes he just carbon fiber dips the pieces you give him. To get this done cost me $75 which is an extremely good price considering what other companies want to do a part of this size. I know it still looks fake but it looks a whole lot more real than most fake "carbon fiber" parts.

I like it! I've been looking for something to snazz up my engine bay without adding too much color. That looks like it might do it.

Is this guy willing to dip pieces that we ship him? If so, I've got a few things that would look cool carbon fiber dipped.

WOW that is snazzy as hell. I would be interested too. I wonder if we could get a better price if we all would go in together on a group purchase type of thing?

He would probably rather you ship them to me and then I would give them to him. This is something he does on the side so I don't want to swamp him with stuff. I will ask him this week if he is interested in doing some pieces.
