What do you think of my RS??
Just curious if my car would be something that people would get excited over. Sorry the pic in the signiture is all I have right now but it shows the new rims and tires I have on there. I will post more pics in a day or so too.
Motor. Engine bay is gonna get painted, plus the pics I posted didn't show the new wheels or seats. I don' t really have too many pictures of just your car by itself man, this was best I've got on hand.

I like it... those rims look MUCH better than the old ones, and I love the hood!

Thanks for all the positive comments. However, I can accept any critism for areas I need to improve. I will try asap to get pics of my car with the interior and new rims and tires.

You mean "I'm so used to Dave being an *** about what he thinks I'm doing wrong nothing anyone says bothers me anymore" right?
Haha you know me, I give my opinion like it or not sometimes. But its all good, I only sound like an azzhole when I say it. But once you get used to that....

I like the red, the wheels, and the engine. However I myself think that you've taken a step backwards in progress and technology by going with a carbed setup rather than fuel injection and going with a T350 rather than the 700R4. With your current combo, you are going to get terrible gas mileage, no takeoff in 1st gear off the line, and no top end speed. To me you've taken everything that made a 3rd gen better than a 2nd gen and went backwards and turned it into a 2nd gen with a 3rd gen body.
Sorry if that isn't what you want to hear, but hey, its your car do as you please. I know I will :lala:

IROC57TPI-yeah, EFI would be nice, but its not really my daily drive. Mainly a street/track car only seeing street duty on cruise nights and such. So mpg isnt too big of a concern right now. If I was to go that route a nice lt1 with the lt4 package would be nice!
Hmmm...thats giving me ideas...
Hmmm...thats giving me ideas... Yeah, powertrain wise it is kinda old school isn't it? But, for the cars intended purposes, it'll work. I mean, I'm a big fan of EFI don't get me wrong, getting me to go without it, well, good luck. But for a car that'll be mostly for friday night and track use, MPG isn't a big concern, neither are cold starts or anything like that. Its just go fast halfway cheap. As long as it can be driven around town, and it'll ride a trailer to the track since its 96 miles away. Now, if it had the 700R4 and the soon to be built new motor, it might almost be drivable to the track. I'm just rambling, I really gotta stop posting after 12.

Yeah, talking about engines, my new engines under construction now. A 377 (Destroked 400 {350 crank in a 400}] Its a short stroke engine which will be great for street use. Terry told me that I would have between 550-600 HP on the engine how he is building it. He built one of these before and the guy's car would pull the wheels off the ground and is totaly streetable. Well hope to have that in next year.

With that much power you better be prepared to replace a lot of other parts in the drivetrain. I'm sure 550-600Hp will break something.
You're reallly gonna have fun embarrasing Viper owners, if there's any in your area

Chris-i will have to beef up the suspension and have my tranny rebuilt to hold the power. Also will need to put that 9-inch rear in as the 7.5's have been known to brake after the 11's. About the Vipers. I've seen a few more driving around lately. Can you image seeing the look on the owners face after his precious viper gets hammered by a camaro. (talking here in a straight line!!)

Yeah, I've seen 4th gens using their stock rear ends into the 11's. Just depends on traction and how hard its abused. Trans-brakes dont help either.
