grant wheel install

I am sure this has been asked but i am having a hard time finding the info need by searching. If i just buy the 50 dollar grant steering wheel is that all i need to install it into an 88 camaro? And how hard is the install? thanks for the help

The steering wheels is only one part you need. You must also buy the "installation kit" which is the part the hub will attach to. The sttering wheel on there now will need to be pulled off using a steering wheel puller tool. Installing the spline drive hub, and then attaching the steering wheel hub and finally steering wheel is fairly straight forward. Just be sure your tires are pointed stright when you mount your hub, so your wheels is properly level when the car is pointed straight ahead.

he's right, I installed a Challenger in my 88 Camaro... you need the GM adaptor that has a foil sticker for your horn to work... you pull the horn button off the current wheel and disconnect the wiring, then remove the nut holding the wheel to the shaft... i didn't have a puller but gentle wiggling while pulling on the wheel after a little bit of WD40 sprayed on the shaft will pop it off... then just install the grant.

dont know where else to post this

ok, i dont know where else to post this, and cant find my last post about grant wheels, but here goes..i recently installed a grant challenger wheel in my 85 trans am, and the plastic piece that holds the lead for the horn contact broke. i didnt get one in the install kit so does anyone know where i can get this piece, i am sure its just a 25cent piece.
