Finally got a dependable vehicle

Well, I ended up buying a truck today. A 1994 Ford F150. Has a full size bed which is good for towing car parts!! Also has a hitch for a trailer too on it. It has the inline 6 (4.9 Liter) with a 5 speed manual (still getting used to the stick) The color is a greenish-blue. The bodys good, some minor scratches though in the bed. Paid $2500 for it so now I can go overboard with the Camaro!!! Well Later

It's awesome when you get another car, so our babies don't have to be driven everyday.

matt is right about the straight 6s, we had them at my old job, we'd beat them to death to try and get new ones, but even with 121,xxx; 190,000, 140,000; they refused to die

congrads on the truck, I plan on buying an old beaten up s-10 or maybe a small car for when I transfer to Western

Mark-yeah, we both bought Fords huh? Oh well. Our fast cars are chevys!!!

Vic-Yeah, I've been told they run well into the 200,000 miles. It has 155,000 on it now and runs like its brand new. No burning oil or leaks anywhere either.

Camrs89: Nice choice, my dad has a '95 4.9L 5 speed, used to have a 94 but the tornado destroyed that Also, my friend has like an '86 4.9L 4 speed. They are FUN when someone knows how to drive them right. And, if you wanna try it, take the muffler off It really isnt that loud at all, we did it to my friend's '86 and it's NICE, tried my dad's without the muffler when we installed catback and it sounded exactly the same, but my dad doesn't like the idea of the exhaust exiting under the cab, he's afraid of the gases and such getting into the cab. Give it a try sometime if u r bored.

hey i got a truck now you wanna race? It is just a little ol regular cab 02 chevy with the 5.3 in it. probly only runs 15.2's. Good move buying a truck it will help more than you know. just don't get roped into helping people move. Now that you have a truck you can buy jet skis and dirt bikes.

Yeah, I feel people are going to start wanting me to help them out, its ok though for some people, like my friends that have helped me with my car.

I was thinking about that exhaust. Running a catback or something so it has "dual exhaust" but I would like my Camaro or my pontiacs to get that money instead. Maybe down the road.

dude, don't get the catback, just try it without the muffler, it sounds pretty good, and not too loud at all. Nice and throaty.
