GodSpeedGTA These are some of the most TERRIBLE "custom" paint jobs EVER ...where are the good ones??? No offense to the solid color guys which arent bad looking not that custom but still nice....all these other cars look like $hit
That lowered blue car with the black hood ( the royal blue from 90z28) looks pretty hot,

But for the most part I agree with GodSpeed GTA, these cars look so ghey, I can't imagine putting out all that effort - for some of these clown cars.

- just me but I would rather have a faded Van nuys assembly plant clear coat than some of these paint jobs, my car is being painted as we speak, I'll post when it's done..

but to each his own, we all have a different oppinion of what's cool, just to me when it comes to thirdgen's less is more if you know what I mean...

Am I the only person that thinks the "turbo" iroc hood is totally stupid looking?

Judging by his pick of faded van nuys, his car will prolly be just like that in 2 years from whoever is painting it.

Hey 82Firebird,

We will see how my car looks, the guy who's painting it , mainly paints car show winning low riders. has a reputation for doing good work out here. And I used to detail cars when I was in college. so hate to say it but I have a better than average knowledge of the subject. no, Im not a professional.

And to me many of these "custom" jobs just look horrible , make you say "what were you thinking?" That is my opinion and I'll own it.

I will post when my car is done, I put too much time and effort in it to create a peice of crap.

I can promise you it will be nicer than some of the cars posted above.

And the guy who is painting my car warantees his work for the life of the car, that's how far he'll go .. so no it will not be faded in two years.. you guys probably don't have a clue and are building for yourselves short bus vehicles of the sort pictured above...

Merry Christmas

Let me clear something up...i dont even remember how i came upon this i think i searched for custom paint jobs and it was at the top of the list so i thought it was recent....(which correct me if im wrong moron i mean camaro 83 is better to revive a post than to repost the same d&*M thing again)

however...id like to say that some of the more recent post are very nice and i highly admire josh's car and others and of course kandied's cars are always spectacular

im not trying to be negative but i see some terrible paint schemes and wasted time and effort that just sux...i know its each his own but come on how can guys look at some of these paint jobs and say wow that looks great

o and to the camaro guy who has the tough guy post from behind his keyboard...its seems everyone knows you have nothing to actually say so keep runnin your mouth and maybe youll waste enough bandwidth to get

Let's see more pics and less arguing

After all, there will always be two opinions, just as in:

1) 305 is POS or not ?

2) Fuel pump change out, make a fuel access door or not ?

3) Polished or chrome ?

Not my ride .

I though it was weird to have a nice paintjob and left the stock spoiler on it. They must of painted it then realized that they left it on.

this is mine:

Yes and yes. I know the car would look way better w/ some tint and I cannot stand these new wheels anymore...really need to get on that one

Camaro guy---ya I wanna see yours too! I just got mine on the street today. Still have alot bugs to work out on the new stealth ram. BTW it looks better in pics than in person...2 years on the paint already has taken a toll on it.

I know what you're saying on the paint....despite driving on 'eggshells' I still havent escaped the occasional chip or scrape.....just kills me when I look at the bill that paintjob cost me

....Im in such a prediciment this summer anyways, I want to enjoy and drive it quite a bit this summer, but there are a few things I gotta get done this year as well (posi, and valve seals for sure), but I also want to get on that 4th gen dash/door panel project.......ugh
