Thx! Got a few more done the past few weeks! All for the STARS show this past weekend! We have finally completed the smoothed in TA Fender vents I have been talking about. Got the sub box looking a bit more professional last week. Made the box so it can be tilted to expose my insane tool kit in the well beneath it! Still not where I want it though! Have to get the new subs in there with the fiberglass top...and create a way to make the box move in a mechanized way to expose the tools! Even with the box incomplete...I still won best interior @ the show!!

Will post up some pics tonight! Have to download them from the digital cam!

Honestly, alot of these cars you guys post are completely ugly and other trashy. I know there are alot of Camaros and Firebirds that look a whole lot better than some of theese. The top ten cars should have rather have something special or go for the clean stock look. Do some of you seriously think that your cars are in the top ten? Theres alot of guys out there that have truly nice cars that have not been mentioned yet.

Man, I wasnt trying to just be a complete a-hole. I'm just saying some of theese guys have bad cars not because of style because they look nice but because some of them have nothing special to them. I mean you take two firebirds, both are the exact same except one polished his wheels and see who is going to win.

Thread....is....SO....old.

I wish a mod would kill it. My car's mentioned (as well as lots of others), but it's been so long that most of the cars listed aren't the same (or even belong to the same owner....cough...Sonar_un)

i remember this thread i was still new to the boards then, Graboids car sticks out to me. Just really clean. Also Powermite i think is his name his is awesome also. They are both across the pond lol Kandied's car is one of my favorite's along with redraif's. But to narrow it down to 10 would be rediculous. Alot of people have nice rides on here, and as time goes on more and more people will get theirs looking as good as those that we all look up to on the board. It's just a matter of time, money and creativity.

No respect for the 6 cylinders :-)

Lots of blood sweat and $$$$ in it, it runs real good too.

102k+ miles and counting.

Got some newer pics too, have to dig them out.

We should try this again in like 6 months but this time have all theese owners send their pictures to a group of people who will be the final judge. I think the judges should then be mods or highly experienced 3rd gen owners who cover the major areas such as interior, exterior, engine, wheels, or any combination of 3 persons because sometimes the engine doesnt matter to people I guess.

Just keep it simple, tell the contestants to send a max of around 4 pictures to a specific email adress and then have the 3 judges work togather to actually determine the top 10. Anyone think this could work?

my baby is all original

I'm pretty new to this site, but I thought I would post one of my babies. This is my most unmelested 3rd gen and i feel it deserves some respect for that. This is my all original 85 Z28 305 tpi. only twenty thousand original miles on this pup. A few years back I saw some old guy sitten outside on his swing with the garage door open and this was under a car cover. I could barely tell it was a camaro except for the wheels peeking out from under the cover. I stopped and asked him if i could take a look and he said he was looken to put it up for sale. So of course i was so kind to take it off his hands. The pictures don't do this car justice, but i swear this car is MINT! For you curious one's... I picked her up for $5000. Was it a steal???

Kandied... Thanks for the responce..

I appreciate the ideas.. The spoiler was a hard sell on me, and once I got it on there I found I really Liked it.. but, its not for everyone.. Ive had it on there since 2000, and its kinda grew on me, so I will keep her.

its funny you mentioned the rims.. Ive actually took them off, and am in the process of finding z06 rims for it. Since I went with a 4th gen rear end i dont need those adapters back there anymoree so I hope to get the new rims sometime this year..

Thanks again for your reply man, Ive looked at your car here for years and always loved how it looked.. so your opinion matters a good bit to me.

I think your car looks sweet! I'm not much of a fan for those spoilers on camaro's, but things tend to grow on me after a while. I love the hood!!! I also own an 88 iroc thats about to get a LT1 powerplant here in a few months and I'm pushing towards that style hood. As for more pic's of my 85.. I may have a few, but it hides away in my dad's garage and i dont get it out to take pictures.. Not to menchion the plates are expired since 03. I took some last week with a disposable and they aren't as good as i wanted.

my buddy makes fun of the "porno red interior".

Does anyone think my car has a shot?

I think your car looks sweet! I'm not much of a fan for those spoilers on camaro's, but things tend to grow on me after a while. I love the hood!!! I also own an 88 iroc thats about to get a LT1 powerplant here in a few months and I'm pushing towards that style hood. As for more pic's of my 85.. I may have a few, but it hides away in my dad's garage and i dont get it out to take pictures.. Not to menchion the plates are expired since 03. I took some last week with a disposable and they aren't as good as i wanted.

thanks for the kind words.. I didnt know if I'd like it either, but it kinda "stretched" the rear of the car I think to look right.

I like your iroc.. very nice and clean. If thats a bad camera, i'd hate to see her in person, cause she must REALLY be a goregous car.

I just got a 91 yesterday too.. rs 305 so i got another project starting too!
