i finally decided enter my car into a car show. man am i glad that i did. it made my night. when i first got to the car show, before i could even get out of my car, this guy ran up to me and told me that he would give me 5k for my car right there on the spot.(i love my car too much so of course i told him no) next i pop the hood and start to wipe of my valve covers, and within seconds there were 15-20 people standing around, complimenting every little detail. and to wrap it up, on the way home i get next to this guy with an ls1. i see him looking over, at the next stop light he rolls down the window and starts telling me how clean my car is and asking all kinds of questions about it and stuff.

Now there is some shine. Did you wax it and what kind if you did.

 

actually it is unwaxed right now. the guy at the paint shop said that i needed to wait 90 days to wax. i can't wait to wax it. when the time comes if i ever receive my formula 113 sample i will use that. if not i have a series of meguiars products that i am currently using. thanks for the comments, and keep them coming.

That's great that you live in a place where people appreciate cars like that. My car is just a little rough in some spots. When I put the scoop on there was some pitting, and it's a little uneven. The engine bay isn't imaculate either, so the old guys who have been restoring their cars since forever don't think I'm anything special and the young people are so into rice it's sick. The only people who really dig my car are little kids. That's enough to make it worth while though.

 

Oh yeah thats right. I wonder if they ever forget to tell people that . This could mean bad news.

STOCK84 I got one of my buddy's brothers to do it on the side for 1500. this was the cheapest that i could find. everywhere else wanted 1900 or more.

 

I think the car looks great. How many miles on it? From the pics it looks like it would be worth more than $5K to me. That guy was clearly low balling you.

I would also recommend Mother's car wax. That is what I use on my cars. The stuff is great.

hey Those Valve covers are the same ones I got to put in my car that are sitting in the box in my garage I Paid $50 for them. lol RIght now engine compartment is a mess because my car is a daily driver.

I always wanted a 91-92 TA. some of the most beautiful cars on the road. Yours is a shining example.

 

That really is a nice looking TA. It looks just like 3.8TransAm's new GTA.I know that these firebirds(91 and 92)are supposed to be rare but if you ever want to see a handfull of them in one place come out here. There are 5 of them just between my car and 2 of my friends and they are everywhere you look on the streets.It seems like I never saw these cars around here till I bought my 92 TA a couple of years ago.Now they are everywhere and people have lost interest in this body style.
