Shouldnt Zepher stay "High Rise"

Some people have a theme about their car, I have a 4th gen theme, some stay completly original....and well...zepher had the whole camaro/firebird mixture thing going.

I think his car looked great, the spoiler, and GFX went together very well on the T/A. Maybe its old news but I was told/shown that he went back to the 85-90 style T/A spoiler. Theres pics below, dont you think he should stick with the high rise spoiler?

With 85-90 Style?

with high rise?

stick with the firebird aerowing. The body kinda swoops up from the front to the back, and the spoiler keeps it going.

I like the new wing MUCH better! The Z28 wing was cool, but the new one in my opinion looks tons better on that car!

I thought the Z28 spoiler looked lame. The stock spoiler is a big improvement, although I think a 91-92 formula/ta spoiler would look even better.

The high rise spoiler was cool. I liked the idea of mixing camaro and bird parts. Heck, I was doing the same thing before I got on the boards. I was searching for used 91-92 gfx for a good 4 years. I finally got them in March 2001. Seems Zepher was the only one with the same idea...well, he is the one everyone knows about.

I have red 92 camaro seatbelts, 92 Z28 GFX and now, a later model RS spoiler (with a stock bird one above). And for the time being, 1997 graphite Camaro seats from my boyfriend's SS. (its down and I needed something nicer for the shows) Not to mention my steering box and sway bars came from a junkyard Z28.

I personally prefer the high rise, but a 4th gen Trans Am WS6 spoiler would be cool too.

I'd also like to see it with no spoiler at all just too see what it looks like.

I think the high rise makes the car look more powerful. And hey, if you ask some ricers the high rise gives you a good 20-30 hp over the wrap arround.

I ended up going wrap around.

BTW A G4 wing would look great! But since you've already got it. I think the warp around is my fav. wing for 82-92 birds. I've only seen one or 2 on camaros, but thats cool too.

I've had 4 (almost 5) different spoilers on my car in the past 2.5 years.
Here is a little photoset showing each one,

No spoiler on this one,

Lol Zepher, you change wheels every time you change spoilers!
I like the 85-90 Aero spoiler, it is the best looking of all bird spoilers IMO.

go back to the 4th gen, screw all others, I didnt know you had that before, what made you get rid of it? I think that is the best T/A spoiler on the market.

I got the 4th gen Wing in May of 2001. This was a brand new, never put together 4th gen wing. I planned on putting it on and then later I saw scaufield had one, and then NoSaint, and then GT Auto started making them and then everyone had one, so I decided to change.
After I get the car running decently, I will venture into the world of the bodyman and see if I can get the nose, tail lights, and bumper from a 98+ Bird to mount up to my car. It won't be a direct bolt on but with some help from some friends, I think I'll be able to get it together. Or maybe I'll get lucky and get a buttload of cash somehow and put the EVO II Kit on my car.

Also, if you look at the car, you will see that I have the 16" chrome 5 stars that you are running on your car.
I sold those after I bought the 17" WS6 wheels.
Oh, I think I have the record for most sets of wheels on the car in the least amount of time, 7 sets in less than 2 years.
Browse this directory, www.transamws6.com/pics/ and you will probably see all 7.

It would look better without the wing if the bumper didn't stick out so far.

Dang Zeph. How many holes do you have drilled in that deck lid. We replaced mine with the new spoiler. Do you change yours out each time, or do you weld and fill?

I've had 3 diferent hatches on the car.
The first hatch had the Standard spoiler and then I mounted the 91-92 Flat Aero Spoiler on it. I then broke that hatch when I was mounting the 4th gen spoiler.

The second hatch had the 91-92 Hi Rise and then I traded the hatch and spoiler for the 85-90 one I have now.

Hey Stuart,
the address in my cz28 sig go to a screen that links to my main site, www.TransAmWS6.com.
www.blackbird.cz28.com
www.leannrimes.cz28.com

And I do need to update and revamp the site a little bit, just been too lazy.
