if i polish my wheels, then find some clearcoat to spray over them, would it hold the polish?

It probably wont shine as much as it would with out the clear coat but it should still look good. Unless there is some kind of clear coat that doesnt fog at all. Hmm I bet there is I just havent herd of it. Well I Have had my rims stripped from the clear coat since last summer and I see no damage so far.

 

Do a search... your wheels are better off without the clear! Trust me.

 

ok, because i have been wanting to polish my wheels, but i gotta go through the winter season with the same rims and i was just alil concerned about damage...how often do i have to polish?
