Another polished TPI on E-bay...

Just wanted to let anyone looking to make the underside of a TPI hood look outstanding know about this.... I figure it also falls under the TPI and Appearance & Detailing boards....

If it's a '91-'92 speed density system, look here: https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/tbitotpi.shtml . Otherwise, search the boards quick and you'll see what's necessary to go to the older style TPI. May want to ask the seller what year/model car it's off of. But generally it boils down to the TPI setup (plenum, runners, manifold, TB, fuel rails, injectors), wiring harness, sensors, and ECM. Those are pretty much the major components. There's probably some other things as well, so check out a few people's stories to get all the info. The most time consuming part is probably doing the wiring harness, it can be a big headache trying to route all the wiring and get everything in the right place.

Oh yeah, forgot a really important one - fuel pump! The TBI pump just won't cut it, since the TPI runs something like 45psi stock (don't quote me on that). I can't remember if you need to replace the fuel lines (I'm mainly thinking the ones in the engine compartment), but you'll figure that out when you look up info on the pump swap. That's also gonna be a PITA, since ya gotta drop the tank...
