Will this look stupid guys?

Ok I need new shocks n Struts for the RS. When I hit a bump it freakin HURTS. So I was thinking about lowering the car. Would this look weird? I dont have any rims besides the stock RS rims. I am planning on gettin me a set of the Torque Thursts next summer when I get a real job or hit the lotto. I dont want to drop the car or nothing, figuring a 1.5 drop or something around there. So any pictures out there of a camaro dropped with 15inch rims. Or any idea on how it would look? Thanks guys.

silver87, why do you upload a pic of your car in every post. ya know how much unnecessary space your eventually taking up on dirks server.

I lowered mine a 2' drop, and it looks great! I have the 15' rims too (the ugly red painted snatchy lookin'...grrrr) and it's still great looking. I did it for performance reasons as well as astetics. I have some pictures somewhere that I've been meaning to scan (before's and afters). All I got to say really is: looks great, more scatching.

lowering your car only gives you problems

for instance, my car isn't even lowered, it's a 92 z28

i have underground parking the ramp kinda looks like this

----\

----------

IT IS SUCH A BITCH TO GET IN THERE! WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT MY CAR I SCRAPED MY EXHAUST EVERY TIME I WENT DOWN, IN ADDITION TO MY FRONT CLIP

I COULD ONLY IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I LOWERED MY CAR!!!

A 2' drop, dang man, that is some serious droppage, lol. Well, maybe not with those 15' rims

Maybe you mean 2" and 15", lol. Just yankin' your chain

Oh yeah it was a hella drop, damn don't I hate braking while turning hard, ramps, inclines, big chug holes, armadillos, rocks, branches, and anything else that is about 3.5 inches high or higher.....but man the curves, and tightness...if your gonna have a car that'll ground out here and there and be annoying to drive in crappy areas, better make it worth every second
